Thank you all for the insightful conversation, learned a lot here.. The
SOC I'm using has fractional clocks that can be adjusted by 0.02%. I
implemented ISO sync as that was outlined by our customer in their
spec.. From all I read before, everyone seemed to be in consensus that
ISO Async is the way to go.. As for now I've heard no pops/clicks ever
since I implemented the clock matching..
From reading this thread, fractional clocks on SOC may just be good
enough as long as the clock matching is done in hardware. I hope I get
